Redridge Industries’ Limited Warranty
What this warranty covers
Redridge Industries (“Redridge”) warrants to the original purchaser that the Redridge Product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of original purchase and continuing for a period specified on a per product basis (reference the product page or user manual).
What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover and expressly excludes:
- Damage or defects caused by: normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, wear/abrasion of coatings due to normal use), rust, corrosion, scratches; cosmetic damage; accidents, fire, earthquake or other external causes outside the control of Redridge; failure to assemble, install or use the Redridge Product in accordance with Redridge’s written instructions, warnings, or guidelines; modification or alteration of Redridge Products; misuse; damage caused by fuel, chemical or other liquid contact or spills; vandalism; or inadequate care or maintenance;
- Damage to vehicles or any objects or items other than the Redridge Product itself; and
- Any and all shipping and handling costs for returned and replacement products.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty and the remedies set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied. Redridge DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. To the extent such warranties cannot be disclaimed, such implied warranties shall apply only for the warranty period specified above. Please note that some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty (or condition) lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDRIDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, USE OR REPAIR OF REDRIDGE PRODUCTS OR COMPONENTS, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NONPERFORMANCE, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS, LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND LOSS OF REPUTATION. Your sole and exclusive remedy, and Redridge’s sole liability, for breach of this Limited Warranty is limited to the remedies described above. Redridge’s maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the purchase price paid by you for the Redridge Product. Please note that some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Redridge Products. No reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty and this Limited Warranty shall not be modified, expanded, or waived in whole or in part. Any statements to the contrary are null and void unless made in writing and signed by the President of Redridge. This Limited Warranty is subject to and shall be interpreted according to Michigan law without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. No legal action shall be brought against Redridge under this Limited Warranty unless filed within one year after the basis for such legal action becomes known, or with the exercise of reasonable diligence should have become known. Any action not timely filed shall be deemed waived. This Limited Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser and is not transferrable.
How to submit a warranty claim
If a defect in materials or workmanship causes your Redridge Product to become inoperable within the warranty period, to submit a warranty claim, visit https://redridge.industries/pages/warranty and provide the required information. As part of the process, you must provide:
- Valid proof of original purchase that includes the date of the purchase. Unfortunately, without a valid form of proof of purchase the warranty is not valid.
- Redridge Product serial number (if applicable).
- A description of the problem and circumstances under which the problem occurred.
- Full contact information, including name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
Redridge will then issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) for your return. You will be responsible for paying for return shipping. After Redridge’s review of the information and returned Redridge Product, you may be asked to provide additional information to support your claim.
What we will do
If you submit a valid warranty claim to Redridge during the warranty period, and Redridge determines in its sole discretion that the Redridge Product or its components have defects covered by this Limited Warranty, Redridge will, at its option, (a) repair and return your Redridge Product, or (b) provide you with a replacement Redridge Product. Any Redridge Product still under warranty that cannot be repaired or replaced with an identical product, will be replaced with an equivalent model based on availability. If available, Redridge will replace discontinued products but cannot guarantee their availability for replacement. Redridge reserves the right to make changes to products and designs at any time. Redridge Products repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these design changes. Repaired or replaced Redridge Products will be covered under the Limited Warranty for the balance of the original warranty period, if any. Redridge may elect at its option to instead issue to the original purchaser a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the Redridge Product or a credit in such amount to be used toward the purchase of a new Redridge Product.
